This is a very cool vintage 9ct gold hinged bamboo bangle from the 1970s. This is such a classic design and with a good weight, and its original safety chain, original bangles like these are becoming increasingly hard to find.

Crafted in a wonderful buttery 9ct gold, this bamboo style gold bangle fits a 6-7 inch wrist, measures 7mm width all the way round. It weighs a healthy and comfortable, 10.44g. It comes with its original safety chain, and opens and closes securely. It is fully hallmarked on its inside for 9ct Gold, Birmingham and 1973. It also bears its makers mark, S & P

This hard to find bangle fits approximately a 6 - 7 inch inch wrist. If you look at the pictures, my wrist is 6 inches, but you can see that the bangle has lots of room to move. It remains in excellent, vintage condition, with only some light scuff marks and a little ding in one of the sections, which cant really be noticed at all unless you look up close - quite incredible given its age. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready to wear.
